The Scrip program is one of the main fundraisers for the WHS Scholarship Foundation. You can purchase Scrip (commonly known as gift certificates) for practically EVERYTHING you use EVERYDAY. It is available from several local retail stores, grocery stores, gas stations, fast food eateries, home improvement stores, and more. Scrip benefits YOU and the Scholarship Foundation!

Because we are a non-profit organization, WHS Scholarship Foundation is able to buy Scrip (gift certificates) at a discount.  Then the gift certificates are sold to you at full price – AND YOU GET TO SPEND THEM AT FULL PRICE, JUST LIKE CASH.  The profit is used for TWO things:

• 60% of the profit is used for the scholarships that are awarded each year,
• 40% is placed in an account for YOUR STUDENT to be used for various expenses or activities at WHS (yearbooks, PE clothes, parking permits, dances, booster club fees, AP Tests, SAT Test, NHS Fees, PTSA dues, etc.).   Contact your Scrip Seller for your student’s account balance. 

Since you buy Scrip AND redeem it at full value, the program costs you nothing, and benefits both the Foundation and your student.
