The Westlake High School Scholarship Foundation is a non-profit, tax-exempt organization. It was founded in 1981 by the late Joanne Siegmann, a counselor at WHS, along with several other community members, to serve the youth of Westlake High School..

Mike Maki Memorial Math Scholarship

In recognition of Mr. Maki’s dedication and love for the entire Westlake High School community, the Westlake High School Scholarship Foundation has established a memorial scholarship in his name. In order to correctly earmark all donations, please indicate Mr. Maki’s name on your donation. Donations can be made to the scholarship fund by either dropping of a donation at the school attention to the Westlake High School Scholarship Foundation or by mail to the school to the attention: Westlake High School Westlake High School Scholarship Foundation 100 North Lakeview Canyon Road Westlake, CA. 91362

Mission Statement

The purpose of the Scholarship Foundation is to recognize students for their academic achievements and to provide college scholarships for deserving seniors. This is accomplished by:

• Honoring students at Student-of-the-Month presentations throughout the school year;
• Recognizing outstanding seniors in each academic department at the Student-of-the-Year presentations in May; and
• Awarding scholarships to seniors students planning to attend college, university or trade school.
