The goals of the elementary Counseling
Program are to teach students essential life skills such as conflict resolution,
cooperation, good decision-making, study skills and respect for others, while
concurrently building self-esteem through confidential individual and group
counseling. Elementary School Counselors will be working collaboratively with
teachers and parents to lend their expertise regarding the social and emotional
growth of Cypress students. We will also be sharing helpful parenting tips and
strategies in your monthly school newsletter.
If you have concerns about your child and would like to refer him or her for individual and/or group counseling, please contact your child's teacher. You can also contact the Elementary School Counselor at 805-497-9511, extension 536.
